PMMA
PMMA is an amorphous material supplied in standard stock shapes for machining and fabricating. PMMA is vastly used worldwide as a glass substitute due to its valuable properties. PMMA material is more flexible, lighter and stronger than glass whilst still having excellent optical clarity, good chemical resistance and weathering properties. We supplies cast and extruded PMMA material in a range of clears, opals and colours. Extruded PMMA is the material choice for a number of applications in the sign and display and fabrication industries due to its ease of working. Whereas, with greater mechanical properties, cast PMMA is preferred for machining.

Group of materials Plexiglass:
Engineering plastics and their products can be ordered from TechPlasty. Materials in the same group from different manufacturers are not always directly interchangeable because they may not all have the same technical parameters. Our technical consultants, who have many years of experience in the field of engineering plastics, will be pleased to advise you on the differences in the individual materials, especially in the boundary conditions. Detailed technical data of individual manufacturers' materials can be found in their data sheets.
